This Refund Policy outlines the terms under which refunds may be issued for ReqSpecs subscription plans. By subscribing to ReqSpecs, you agree to the terms set out below.

1. Free Trial

ReqSpecs offers a free trial period for new users. During the trial, you are not charged and no payment information is required to start. If you choose not to subscribe after the trial ends, your account will simply be limited to read-only access — no charge will be made.

2. Subscription Billing

Paid subscriptions are billed on a recurring monthly basis. Your subscription automatically renews at the start of each billing cycle unless you cancel before the renewal date.

You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period — you will retain access to paid features until then.

3. General Refund Policy

As a digital subscription service with immediate access upon payment, ReqSpecs generally does not offer refunds for subscription payments once a billing cycle has begun. We encourage all users to take advantage of the free trial to evaluate the platform before committing to a paid plan.

4. Pro-Rata Credit Requests

We understand that circumstances can change. If you believe a refund or credit is warranted, you may contact us to request a pro-rata credit on a case-by-case basis. Pro-rata credits are calculated based on the unused portion of your current billing period.

To request a credit:

  • Email us at info@reqspecs.io with your account email and a brief explanation of your request.
  • We will review your request and respond within 5 business days.
  • If approved, the credit or refund will be processed to your original payment method within 7–10 business days.

Please note that credit requests are assessed individually and approval is at our discretion.

5. Exceptions

We will provide a full or partial refund in the following circumstances:

  • Billing errors: If you were charged incorrectly (e.g. double charge, charge after cancellation), we will issue a full refund for the erroneous charge.
  • Extended service outages: If the platform experiences a significant, prolonged outage that materially impacts your ability to use the Service during a billing period, we may issue a pro-rata credit for the affected period.
